The South West Arena Society/Calgary Centennial Arenas was recently awarded funding under the Government of Alberta, Ministry of Gaming Community Facility Enhancement Program (CFEP) and Community Initiative Program (CIP) grant programs.
Centennial was awarded $87,500 from CFEP for capital purchases and facility upgrades including the purchase of a new ice resurfacer, lighting upgrades, and parking lot repair, and $10,250 from CIP for an electronic scheduling display.
