The South West Arena Society is a unique community organization formed in 1983 to build, administer and operate Calgary Centennial Arenas. The facility consists of international and regulation ice surfaces, a restaurant and lounge, concession and pro-shop. Ownership of the facility includes:

The South West Arena Society/Calgary Centennial Arenas was recently awarded funding under the Government of Alberta, Ministry of Culture and Community Spirit's Community Facility Enhancement Program (CFEP).
Centennial was awarded $100,000 from CFEP to assist with capital purchases including a new electric ice resurfacer and a new dessicant dehumidification system.
